I think a question which many people ask is whether we can have a site giving out medical advice.

Proposal: Health

This has already been answered for "mental health" instead of "health". Check out the answers to the question: Is it right to have non-professionals answering questions on mental health?

  • Mental health and health are different areas of concern, though there may be some considerable overlap Mar 14, 2014 at 12:31

The top answer to that question is great and should exactly apply here. @Alexander Troup: "Mental health" and "health" are different areas of concern, no more than say "respiratory health" and "urinary health" are different areas of concern.

  • @KennyLJ but respiratory and urinary are different areas of concern. If I went to a site about respiratory health and found info about urinary health, then the site is wrong. The same applies to a site about mental health, and another about physical health. Though like I say, there is overlap Mar 14, 2014 at 16:46

I didn't say that respiratory and urinary health are not different areas of concern. I agree that indeed they are. My point was merely that the difference between "health" and "mental health" is no greater than the difference between "respiratory health" and "urinary health".
