How about advices of the type

Don't try to use [X] to achieve [Y], because of [Z].

Such experience is certainly valuable and can provide information beyond the glossy brochures. It may save a lot of time and prevent certain pitfalls. But it will also tend to lead to discussions.

The right place for this question is the meta site.

This doesn't look like an answer. A recommendation question is “What tool can I use to do Y?”, not “What's your favorite tool for Y?”. If you know that X is a wrong answer, why would you post it as an answer?
