Proposal: Parenting

1 Answer 1

There was an adoption proposal that was closed in support of a unified Parenting site. Since adoption talk was folded into this subject, it would stand to reason that this would now be on topic.

Proposals and their audiences evolve and adapt during the formation of the site. These issues can be hashed out by the community during the early beta.

thanks, that makes sense. does that mean that the 5 on-topic and 5 off-topic sample questions can actually be misleadingly out-of-date, even before the site launches? it seems in this case that that has happened. Mar 22, 2011 at 16:01

@Tea Drinker: Yes, the top-5 list is computer generated, based on the voting. But those questions may overlap, proposals get merged, sentiments change. There's nothing inherently doctrinal about the top-5. The sentiments expressed by the highly-voted on- and off-topic questions give you a pretty good indication about the scope of the site, but the working definition of the site is largely developed during the beta period when people are actually using the site.
