Proposal: Music Fans

Is it possible to have this reopened in order to give it another shot? I really feel that this will ultimately prove a very popular SE site. I can think of a million questions right now!

It's unfortunate that the community surrounding SE sites has largely come from StackOverflow, SuperUser and ServerFault, but eventually that will change once more people realise that SE sites are great places for information, and aren't just about technical subjects.

How can this happen?

I'm sorry, but I can't do that. The one-year timeframe is already way longer than a proposal should be allowed to linger. This has been closed for a month, and there's been no other attempts to revive it. Rather than prolonging a proposal that didn't have much momentum to begin with, I think it is best to regroup and try again.

  • So I may have voted on that last question (to see if I could). It's score was 9 and the vote pushed it into the commitment phase...oops. That probably shouldn't be possible, but I hope it didn't send out the commitment e-mails

  • @JohnB No emails are gonna be sent. We only email out phase changes for open and not-deleted proposals.

  • What does "regroup and try again" mean if not "reopened and try and regain support"?

Please read Closing a Proposal After 1+ Year in Definition or Commitment. "Regroup and try again" doesn't mean keep it open and carry on as before. Dec 12, 2013 at 3:47
