Proposal: Ebooks

Just have a thought whether this can be utilized to get the source for a particular e-book. Not sure how practical it can be. If this is there, im sure there maybe tons of people who would be searching around here.. And more people, the better?

I think that links to single e-books are too localized, but the sites where free e-books can be downloaded are the topic that will be heavily looked upon.

The problem is that resource questions are list questions, and additionally they are likely to encourage spam. But the questions where can a particular category of books be found (for example, free physics books in English) should be on-topic because of their importance to the community.

  • The trouble with the second paragraph is where does the cutoff between on and off topic come. You say Physics is Ok what about Science and Non Fiction. Presumably the last is off topic so where would the change be? – mmmmmm Dec 12 '13 at 16:18
