My Aviation Professionals Site on LinkedIn (114k members) has a high level of recruiter activity. Generally the quality of the questions are quite low and they tend to have little respect for the Group Rules.

I propose that any form of job advertising and recruitment type questions be NOT permitted.

However, I propose that Career Related Questions like "What are the qualifications to become a pilot" or "Whee is the best place to obtain A320 Simulatir Time" or "What universities offer an Aviation related Course" be allowed.

Proposal: Aviation

On (pretty much) all Stack Exchange sites, "recruiter" activity or self-promotion is explicitly disallowed and in the vast majority of cases, flagged as spam. Nov 27, 2013 at 10:20

I don't think the quality of the site benefits from recruiter activity. A parallel recruitment site like there is for example on Stackoverflow would be a possibility. But before that would work the site needs to have a wide audience.

I agree, when the site becomes large enough to support it, a jobs site would be useful. That will be awhile though....
