Proposal: Italian Language & Usage

'We are preparing for its launch and expect to create it soon.' said the banner.

Since the proposal has reached 100% commitment some days ago, when will IL&U start? Or is there the danger that the proposal will make the same end of Stack Overflow in Portuguese, which, as it is clear, will never start?

  • @Robert, how can the question be a dupe of that other you cited, which is referred to Astronomy.SE? If you don't have understood, I precise that I'm talking abou Italian Language & Usage, not about Astronomy, yes.

  • You are reading it a bit literally. The answer to when IL&U will start is the same for every site that reaches 100%. Barring any technical difficulties, sites are generally launched in the following week (typically on a Tuesday or Wednesday) following their completion. Sorry, I updated the answer to clarify that.

    Stack Overflow in Portuguese needs to have its user interface in Portuguese, which will take a lot of time, whereas Italian's user interface is in English.

Barring any technical difficulties, sites are generally launched in the following week (typically on a Tuesday or Wednesday) following their completion. This site should launch sometime late tomorrow.
