I've fulfilled a commitment to a few proposals, so I know how to do that: ask or answer 10 questions during private beta, and 1-2 days after the site goes to public beta, the commitment is fulfilled.

But if I miss the private beta phase for any reason (for example, taking 5 days vacation and leaving for 9 days, or taking 2 weeks free), is it still possible to fulfill the commitment?

I suppose if so, the requirements are higher that 10 questions or answers, but what they are? If it is possible at all?

The FAQ says something about this :

Once you've fulfilled your commitment on a new site by asking and answering a few questions, you'll be able to commit to another site. If you are very active, you may be able to re-use your commitment as soon as the second day of public beta. If you aren't active on the site, you won't be able to re-use the commitment until the end of the public beta, or until six months after the beta began.

You can fulfill your commitment by making a total of 10 posts (questions or answers) on the site, none of which should have a negative score, and can be posted at any point of time till the end of the public beta period. (Well, thats my interpretation)

OK, this is theory. But how it functions in practice? Does anyone have experience with it? Commented Jul 9, 2013 at 15:50
