I wrote a few answers yesterday on stackoverflow.com, and already got my reputation up to 81. 200 might be doable in a couple evenings.

If you don't mind, I'm just bumping this topic to be visible on the proposal page as a reminder...

The current commitment stats are

96% 193/200 committers in total
79% 79/100 committers with 200+ rep on any other site

so the proposal currently needs 21 more new or existing committers who also participate elsewhere on SE.

  • Why these in particular? Is it easier to get reputation on these sites than the rest of the sites on the SE network? Jul 2, 2013 at 21:06
  • @PeterOlson: No, I just thought they might be of interest to the people in Amateur Radio. Feel free to choose whichever sites interest you the most! Jul 2, 2013 at 22:39

Gaming the system is not the correct way to get a proposal into beta.
The thresholds are there for a reason.
Take participation in any site seriously and don't just participate to get this proposal to the beta.

Thank you.

  • So you consider being active on another site "gaming the system"? That's just silly. Voting defines your contributions not your motives. If your contributions are good great, if not all the more reason you should be active on another site so you learn how SE works!

  • So, in your oppinon, once you commit to a site without having 200+ rep on an other side, you should try not to change that? Oct 7, 2013 at 8:25
