When I voted to close an example question, I saw the old close reasons:

  • Exact duplicate
  • Off topic
  • Not constructive
  • Not a real question
  • Too localized

These were recently replaced with:

  • Duplicate
  • Off-topic
  • Primarily opinion-based
  • Unclear what you're asking
  • Too broad

Why is it that on Area 51 example questions, I still see the old close reasons?

Recently, I've seen moderators having to use an old close reason and clarify in the comments that it really means something else (e.g. close one as "not a real question" then post a comment saying that this would be closed as "too broad" on the actual site).

the old off topic close reason had a space instead of a hyphen, and duplicate close reason was called exact duplicate
